What will God do this fall quarter?

Jesus is alive. The Holy Spirit has come. Our God saves. We believe it is time for us to ask God to do new things. Are you willing to try some new things? Here are ideas & opportunities:

  • Start a Bible study group in your dorm with a few friends & watch God work.
  • Mobilize students & your church in Global Hunger Relief work this fall.
  • Lead a group of American students on a Cultural Immersion Scavenger Hunt.
  • Borrow Pastor Scott’s car & teach an international student how to drive here.
  • Get to know some godly older women EBC’s Women’s Night on 9/23.
  • Volunteer to help out with nursery & pre-school age kids during Explore the Bible (9:15-10:15am) and Sunday Worship Gatherings (10:30-12noon) at EBC.
  • Grow as a leader at our free “Leadership in the Church” conference 9/30-10/1.
  • Explore a corn maze in the dark on cool fall night in October with new friends.
  • Don’t miss Membership Matters at EBC, Sundays, 10/2-30, 9:15-10:15am
  • Get ready for Engage24 on October 11th.  A day to share your faith.
  • Make new international student friends during Open House Chicago on 10/15
  • Skip class & travel with EBC pastors to the Collegiate Church “Catch the Vision Tour” at The Salt Company & Cornerstone Church in Ames, Iowa 10/26-28
  • Help plan & host a “Good News from a Graveyard” party for kids on 10/31.
  • Hear great preaching from H.B. Charles, Jr., Fred Luter, Adron Robinson, Jeff Iorg & others, live, during the Illinois Baptists’ Annual Meeting on 11/1-3.
  • Serve a home-cooked Thanksgiving meal for International Students on 11/18.
  • Host a Christmas Open House party for International Students 12/4.
  • Travel with friends to Indianapolis for the CROSS conference, hear John Piper speak on missions, and much more, 12/27-30.
